En la mansión de los Velarde están Juan Miguel, Patricio, Cecilia y Estefanía. Patricio les dice que Marichuy tiene dos caminos: la calle o la cárcel.
Juan Miguel le dice a Patricio que Marichuy se irá con él, Estefanía enfurece. Juan Miguel llega a su casa con Marichuy.
Onelia le dice a Juan Miguel que no puede vivir bajo el mismo techo que Marichuy, él le responde que si no le parece, que se vaya pues ya ha tomado la decisión.
En el estudio de Vicente están Marichuy, Roció, Amador, Vicente, Becky, Elsa y Nelson.
Roció está bailando con Vicente y aprendiendo a fumar, él le dice que le gusta y que quieren que sean pareja. Becky va hacia la puerta, al abrir se encuentra a Juan Miguel que mira la fiesta, ve a Marichuy bailando con Eloy y Roció besándose con Vicente. Juan Miguel se acerca a Marichuy y la toma por el brazo. Al ver a Juan Miguel, Amador dice que ya llegó el carcelero de Marichuy. Juan Miguel se lleva a Marichuy y Rocío a la fuerza.
En el jardín de la casa de Juan Miguel está Marichuy sentada mirando al cielo, no puede dominar su coraje. Juan Miguel va hacia ella, se detiene, se miran, ella le hace gesto de rabia, él se sienta junto a ella suavizándose.
Juan Miguel le dice a Marichuy que siente mucho la forma como la trató. Marichuy le dice a Juan Miguel que lo quiere mucho, él la mira a los labios, ella los entreabre. Juan Miguel besa a Marichuy tiernamente.
