Todas las televisiones estaban pendientes del anuncio de la muerte de Adolfo Suárez, primer presidente de la democracia, después de que su hijo confirmara el delicado estado de salud del político español. La mayoría de las cadenas estaban en pleno informativo cuando, sobre las 15:15 horas, el portavoz de la familia Suárez anunciaba la muerte del ex presidente.
